Just installed it on my WD TV and all apeared fine I had movies in a folder called movies I conected up to my pc to transfer another movie I decided to cut & paste all the movies from the folder to the root I did that..I conected back upto the WD TV and It couldnt see the movies..I then conected back up the pc and the movies had been wiped by WD TV I checked the drives properties and the space was still allocated like the movies was there but they wasnt...In frustration I have returned the product how this was left to leave the factory half finished is beyond me..Hand shaking issues with various tv's firmwares that offer little or nothing feature wise...overall piss poor......Looks great on paper performs poorly in the flesh.........Have opted to go for the EGreat M34A H.264 HDMI 1080P Network Media Tank Player solid reliable and does exactly what it says on the box for the sake of the extra £30 it's is worth it for all hassle you have with the WD TV.....

It was probably the hard drive no being removed right. Make sure you safely remove it before you unplug it. I had the same thing happen to me once but now I safely remove it every time and don't have any problems.

Mr Winks is correct. You have to eject the hard drive from the WDTVHD just as you would for the PC. I have been using 1.03.01 since it came out and the only problem I have had was my own fault. A reload of the firmware has been working great. Nice to see the sync problem cured with the audio on MKV files.

The MKV audio sync is NOT fixed in ver. 1.03. It does however work in ver 1.02.11. All my files are MKV and only say 20% of them are affected by this. They were all encoded using the same software,software settings,p.c.,dvd drive... Not sure what the actual bug is. I rolled back my Firmware to 1.02.11 and they ALL work fine.
