downloaded and this is what the readmefile says... The last one seems like a demanded one.
Fixed items:
* Added option to toggle subtitle default to 'On' or 'Off'
* Added subtitle outline thickness selection
* Added hard drive spindown on WDTV power off

Great! Hard drive spin down on shutdown. My little drive probably wouldn't last too long if it's always on.

Hi Guys,
I posted a bug report about this 1.02.07 ver. on april 30. It was about a concert in .mkv that woks fine in 1.01.02 but after installing this latest it plays slowly and the sound disappears after playin for 5s. And after installing back the older firmware it plays well again so it's not the file but there is a problem with this firmware. And now they put it out officially???? there's no sense in having this forums to report problems with beta versions if they don't do anything about it
Anyway hope to see some solution soon cause i really would like to have the hard disk spin down working, but not at the cost that my concert won't play.

It's ultimately Western Digitals decision on what to release. I know there have been many complaints about some videos not working that used to work in previous versions. I would just stay with the older firmware until the next release comes out. If you post something in the bug reports section you may find someone that also had the same problem and can help you work around it.

Subtitles embedded in .mkv files still not working properly. It shows for a fraction of second then disappear.
