First of all I would like to thank you for all the effort you put in this community.

Today I installed the WDLXTV Version 0.5.3.2 firmware, no problems at all.

Now I would like to use the app trailer app. I copied the appletrailerfs.app.bin into the root of my HDD. Then I turned on my wdtv while the hdd was already on. But nothing happened. No app trailer folder or whatsoever was created.

Also tried the above with a usb stick, turned on my wdtv, rebooted but no changes.

Am I forgetting something? Also the custom firmware is still in the root directory of my HDD/ Usb stick.


Maybe it is because I didn't setup the wifi mod? I was just wondering how it looks like.

UPDATE:

I installed the wifi mod and used a SItecom dongle with RT73 chipset. And there the apple trailer folder was, this means that also my WPA secured wifi is working otherwise I would'nt get a list with the trailers I suppose?

However I still can't play the video's I select: Unable to play the selected file.......etc.
